Just about 8,000 visitors (last year 8,107) used the three days of the fair to obtain comprehensive information at the stands of the 591 exhibitors (last year 569) and to catch up at the forums on the state of the art of sensor, measuring, and testing technology. The number of exhibitors from abroad was the highest in the last ten years. The share of exhibitors from abroad soared to a new record of 40%. Thus, the SENSOR+TEST impressively substantiated its position as the worldwide leading event for sensor, measuring, and testing technology.

The SENSOR+TEST 2017 Measurement Fair in Nürnberg came to a successful conclusion today. A total of 8,100 technology professionals (8,656 last year) made use of the opportunity to obtain comprehensive information on the state of the art of sensor, measuring, and testing technology at the presentation forums and the 568 exhibitors’ stands (586 last year) during the three days of the fair. With a high international share of approximately 27% among the visitors and 37% of the exhibitors, the SENSOR+TEST was able to further expand its internationality, once again confirming its position as the worldwide leading trade fair for sensors, measuring, and testing technology.
The two parallel AMA Conferences, SENSOR 2017 and IRS² 2017, were also well attended: The 760 conference participants were able to glean information on the state of the art and the latest research in about 200 technical presentations.

A total of 8,600 visitors from all industries (7,142 in the previous year) used the opportunity to obtain comprehensive information on the state of the art in sensor, measuring, and testing technology. Not only the number of visitors, but also the number of exhibitors increased, namely to 586 (last year 548). This is the greatest amount since 2007, before the economic crisis. The ratio of international exhibitors set a new record at 37%. Moreover, the move to exhibition halls 1, 2, and 5 increased the net stand area to a total of 8,700 square meters.
